Team Scheduler

Overview:
In the study-building process, managing hundreds of edit checks, custom functions, and coordinating access for multiple applications across teams can be highly complex and time-consuming. Traditional ticket management tools like Jira and MS tools often add to the complexity. To address these challenges, we developed the Team Scheduler, a Windows application designed to streamline task management, user access, and team coordination.

Features:

Role-Based Access: The application includes profiles for Managers, Team Leads, and Team Members, each with varying levels of authority. This ensures that tasks are assigned and managed efficiently according to team roles.
Smart Task Assignment: The tool intelligently prioritizes task assignments based on employee workload and expertise. It highlights team members with the least workload, ensuring optimal task distribution.
Real-Time Notifications: When a task is assigned, the team member receives an instant notification, along with an access request email. The tool also sends testing notifications within specific timeframes to ensure timely processing.
Dynamic Task Updates: Team members can easily update their task status within the application, making themselves available for new assignments. This dynamic updating has significantly increased team efficiency.
Impact:
The implementation of the Team Scheduler has improved overall team efficiency from 74% to 102%. The 102% efficiency reflects the ability of team members to complete tasks faster and contribute to smaller, quick-turnaround tasks that might otherwise have been delayed.
